Job Description

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical and life sciences solutions provider, is seeking a Quarantine Specialist to join their team. As a Quarantine Specialist, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting manufacturing and packaging operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quarantine Specialist

Location: Manassas, VA (On-site)

Pay Range: $24/hour

What’s the Job?

• Manage the quarantine process for raw materials and finished goods.
• Review incoming materials Certificates of Analysis (COAs), labels, and packaging.
• Maintain accurate quarantine logs and related documentation.
• Sample raw materials for in-house and third-party lab testing; create finished product COAs.
• Hold and determine disposition for non-compliant products, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

What’s Needed?

• BS in Food Science or related major OR High School diploma with significant manufacturing experience and HACCP, PCQI, GFSI, cGMP training.
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and spoken English
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs and test methods.
• Knowledge of GMP and Quality systems (Spanish language skills a plus).
